Anti-Bullying Week 2017

From February 13th to 17th the children at St. Macartan’s N.S. learned about the importance of making their school a bully free zone. The children created posters to raise awareness about bullying and how it is not tolerated in our school. At Assembly each class explained their artwork and performed a song. It is so important to raise awareness on this issue as it allows the children to learn how to recognise bullying behavior and what to do if they are being targeted. It is beneficial for everyone if bullying can be prevented through raising awareness in our school. A special thanks to 6th class for their very informative Anti-Bullying assembly.

It is so important for our children to learn that they can and should speak out against bullying. Well done to all the St Macartan’s staff for the excellent work you do in developing this caring ethos in our children.
